Mesh Technology
Mesh Technology is Tracker’s innovative enhancement to vehicle tracking, adding an extra layer of movement and location data. It works by using other customers’ vehicles equipped with dual tracking (GPS/GSM and VHF) to detect stolen vehicles nearby.
When a stolen vehicle is detected, these nearby vehicles send instant alerts—called Mesh Hits—to Tracker’s Control Room. This creates a powerful network effect, allowing multiple vehicles to contribute to fast and accurate location tracking, significantly improving the chances of recovery.
Battery-Powered Monitor
Battery-Powered Monitor is specially designed to protect unpowered or infrequently used vehicles and assets without draining their batteries. It operates independently with its power source, requiring no wiring into the vehicle’s electrical system. Easy to install and compatible with a wide range of vehicles, it offers a hassle-free security solution.
Using patented VHF technology, which is supported by all UK police forces, the monitor enables precise tracking and fast recovery in the event of theft. While the unit is single-use and must be replaced after a robbery, any remaining subscription can be transferred to a new device, ensuring continued protection with minimal disruption.
