MINI marks 25 years of modern production with celebration of British manufacturing excellence.

MINI and BMW Group’s UK manufacturing plants in Oxford and Swindon are proudly celebrating 25 years of successful MINI production. Production milestones began in early 2001 with MINI body components manufactured in Swindon, followed by the first new MINI rolling off the line in Oxford on 26 April that year. One of Britain’s most iconic automotive brands marks a quarter century of modern manufacturing excellence.

A MINI like no other: meet the brand’s special custom-crafted MINI John Cooper Works Convertible.

MINI reveals one of one, custom-crafted customer car, based on the MINI John Cooper Works Convertible. A unique exterior design featuring Midnight Black and metallic green two-tone exterior paint, custom made badging and matching factory-fitted JCW accessories. Colour matched interior details and backlit door sill covers with exclusive detailing. Produced entirely in Great Britain by MINI Plant Oxford.

Travel further, adventure bigger: The MINI Countryman Electric, now delivering over 300 miles on a single charge.

Introduced in 2023 as the first MINI Countryman available with an all-electric powertrain, the third-generation MINI Countryman receives a range of technological refinements to enable a single-charge range of over 300 miles.

Highest level of safety: MINI Cooper Electric wins Euro NCAP Best in Class.

The fully electric MINI Cooper - which has already been awarded 5 stars in the Euro NCAP crash testing in March 2025 - has once again received outstanding recognition from the esteemed Euro NCAP institute: the "Best in Class for Safest City & Supermini of the Year 2025."

Meet the new MINI Cooper Electric Monochrome & MINI Aceman Monochrome

MINI is excited to announce the new MINI Cooper Electric Monochrome & MINI Aceman Monochrome, available on E derivatives of both models. Offered in a fixed specification, customers can choose between Midnight Black or Nanuq White exterior paintwork, alongside an increased level of standard features across the models including MINI Navigation with Head-Up Display, Wireless Charging and LED Headlights

Line-up for the 24-hour race: Samantha Tan makes her debut in the MINI John Cooper Works at the Nürburgring.

High speed and enormous endurance: the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring poses extreme challenges for racing cars and drivers. Four outstanding drivers will be competing in the 53rd edition of the race for MINI John Cooper Works and Bulldog Racing. Among them: 27-year-old racing icon Samantha Tan from Canada.
